2008 Optimist National Championship

Over the weekend of 27th and 28th September, 82 boats from all over the Bahamas assembled at the Nassau Yacht Club to compete in the Optimist National Championship

The boats lined up on Montagu Beach for lunch break.

Boats were launched again after lunch. Daniel Davis rounds the windward mark in "True North".

Daniel Davis in "True North" placed 9th overall and Kenneth Davis in "St Pats" placed 10th overall in their league of 45 boats.

Rodney Cadet in "Myrtle" placed 27th overall and Ammard Mcklewhite in "Harri" placed 35th overall.
