Optimist National Championship September 19-20 2009
The GHSC sent 3 sailors and their boats to this event in Nassau
Delphine Carroll placed 6th out of 20 boats competing in the green fleet and received a special award for the most improved female skipper. The green fleet is made up of sailors from all of the Bahamas who have not competed in the Nationals before.
Kenneth Davis (above) was placed 25th in the championship fleet of 33 boats. Rodney Cadet was placed 31st.
