Race programme

Racing takes place in the harbour every Saturday morning at 10.00 . The boats are launched and rigged on the beach in front of the library. The first race starts at 11.00. The course is usually set up in the Harbour so that the races can be clearly seen. The boats are split into three classes, the Optis start first then the Sunfish and Lasers.

Our sailors have competed in Nassau and Marsh Harbour in all 3 classes. One of our sailors (Justin Pinder) achieved 4th place in the Laser Junior Nationals.

Training

New junior members, aged 8 to16, are welcome to attend for the Wednesday evening session at 4.00, but must complete an application form which must be signed by their parent/guardian, and must pass a swimming test. There is no charge for junior membership, but donations, such as supplying lunch after the Saturday races are greatly appreciated.

The Club is always looking for donations and sponsorship.
